Gatto Matto has never been just a restaurant. It’s always been about people, about coming together, about moments worth remembering. That’s why we host events. Not because we have to — but because we want to. Because it fills us up. Just like we hope it fills you up too.
Some events we organize completely on our own, others we simply show up to cook — and honestly, we love that just as much. Some happen at home, at our spots on Panská, Ventúrska, or in Rusovce. And some take place at our friends’ place in Suchá nad Parnou. Here’s everything that’s coming up…
🔥 Barbeque day
May 15, 2026 — Gatto Matto Rusovce
The first grill-up of the season. The garden of our little countryside house in Rusovce transforms into an outdoor kitchen — filled with the smell of grilled meat, vegetables, and all kinds of good things being lovingly prepared over hot coals by our head chef, Peter Cibulka. And of course, there’ll be homemade baked sweets and a seriously good summer vibe. The whole evening flows along beautifully with wine from Terra Parna and beer from General. It’s a combo that’s proven itself time and time again — and one we’re more than happy to repeat.

🎈 Children’s Day
May 30–31, 2026 – Gatto Matto Rusovce
A garden full of laughter, colour, and boundless energy? That’s exactly what it looks like when we celebrate Children’s Day in Rusovce. For our little guests, we’ve got face painting, balloon decorations, and — of course — a sweet surprise we’re not quite ready to reveal yet. This one is special to us. Kids are the most honest guests out there — they either smile or they don’t. And when they smile, we know we’ve done something right.
🍷 Sommelier Evenings
Every Friday in June — Gatto Matto Panská
The whole of June belongs to wine. Every Friday evening at Panská, our Daniel will be waiting for you — along with a glass (or a few) of exceptional wines and the stories behind every bottle. We’ll let Daniel speak for himself: “For me, Sommelier Evenings aren’t just about wine. They’re about what happens around the glass — the conversation, the curiosity, that moment when someone understands why one wine tastes completely different from another.” Someliérske večery pre mňa nie sú len o víne. Parna Party
June 26, 2026 — Terra Parna Winery
We feel like the Zvolenský family from Terra Parna winery are more than just partners to us — they’re friends. A friendship that’s been nurtured over good wine and cooking together out among the vines. There’s something truly magical about that place in Parná — an atmosphere you simply can’t put into words. You just have to experience it. So when they called us up again to cook at their legendary Parna Party, we didn’t hesitate for a single second.

July 18, 2026 — Terra Parna Winery
This one’s a first for us. And maybe that’s exactly why we’re the most excited about it. Picture this: a blanket on the grass, a picnic basket packed with our food, a bottle of Terra Parna wine, and live music playing in the background. Who’s performing? That’s a surprise. The Picnic in Parná is going to be the kind of slow, sun-soaked, feel-good summer afternoon you deserve — full of flavour, full of fragrance, and with a smile that stays with you long after you head home. So, why do we do all of this?
Because smiling faces are the best feedback we could ever ask for. Because food simply tastes better under an open sky. And because, honestly, we just don’t know how to do it any other way.
